Steven Giuliano
Director of Instruction
An Australian PGA member for over 25 years, Steven has spent the past 15 years proudly calling Malaysia home. Throughout his career, he has coached multiple winners on the Asian and LET Tours and mentored a long list of juniors who are now making their mark on both the Malaysian and international professional stages.As the Director of Instruction at SG Performance, Steven is passionate about delivering a clear, structured approach to player development. His coaching philosophy focuses on identifying the key areas that create the greatest impact — helping golfers of all levels improve efficiently, whether in the short term or through a longer-term performance plan.
Marijan Mustac
Senior Instructor
A proud member of the German PGA, Marijan brings a modern, science-driven approach to golf instruction — blending technology, performance analysis, and innovation to help players reach their full potential. With over a decade of global coaching experience, he has worked in Malaysia and Germany, including three years with Stuttgart’s first male Bundesliga team. His coaching portfolio spans players on the DP World, PGA, LPGA, and LET Tours, as well as elite junior athletes.Known for his infectious enthusiasm and ability to simplify complex concepts, Marijan combines technical mastery with personalized guidance to create meaningful, lasting improvement in every player he coaches.
Andy Effandy

Andy is one of Malaysia’s more established and respected local instructors, having taught at KDE for over 18 years. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for delivering a simple yet highly effective style of instruction that resonates with golfers of all levels.Over the years, Andy has continually refined his coaching approach through ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and education series both delivered and hosted by Steven. His calm and approachable manner makes him a favourite among students, particularly within junior development programs and with everyday golfers seeking to improve their fundamentals and on-course performance.
Abel Tam

For almost a decade, Abel has dedicated himself to the craft of coaching — continually refining his knowledge, teaching methods, and ability to connect with players of all levels.A proud member of the PGA of Malaysia, Abel began his coaching journey under the mentorship of Steven Giuliano, spending two formative years shadowing and learning from one of Asia’s most respected instructors.
Today, Abel has established himself as a leading figure in junior and elite player development. His structured, progressive approach has helped numerous young athletes transition successfully from junior golf into national representation and early stages of professional competition.
With a keen eye for technical precision and a strong focus on performance habits, his coaching style blends technical detail with practical application — equipping players with the tools, mindset, and confidence to perform at their best.
Irfan Yusoff
Certified Instructor
Irfan reached the pinnacle of professional golf in Malaysia with his victory at the season-ending Tour Championship on the local PGM Tour in 2018. After a successful playing career, he transitioned into coaching following the pandemic and has since dedicated himself to developing his skills as an instructor.A committed student of the game, Irfan has regularly attended workshops and education series delivered by Steven, further refining his understanding of performance and player development. He’s quickly earned a reputation as a coach who communicates with clarity and impact, helping golfers of all levels make immediate, lasting improvements both on the range and on the course.
Audrey Tan

Audrey is a fresh addition to the SG Performance coaching team, bringing with her a strong playing background and a growing passion for player development. A 2023 graduate from a Division I college in the United States, Audrey transitioned seamlessly from a successful amateur career across collegiate and Asian circuits into coaching. Over the past two years, she has been actively involved with the team, focusing on the development of junior and female golfers. Guided by the mentorship of Steven and Abel, Audrey is committed to continuous learning and to helping her students build both confidence and skill through a positive, structured approach to improvement.
Arif Rosidi
Instructor
Arif joined the SG Performance coaching team two years ago after completing his apprenticeship in Golf Management and graduating from the PGA University in California in early 2024. Recently earning his PGA of Malaysia professional status, Arif has chosen to dedicate his career to coaching and player development.In a relatively short time, he has achieved impressive results with golfers of all levels, with a particular focus on nurturing junior talent in the region. Arif brings great enthusiasm and a genuine passion for learning to his work, continually refining his teaching skills under the mentorship of coach Steven and the support team at SG Performance.
